
Gregory Bendau, PsyD earned both his Doctorate and Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Additionally, he is completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the Wright Institute Los Angeles, where he also completed predoctoral training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and community mental health.
Dr. Bendau is particularly interested in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and the advancement of psychodynamic psychotherapy training. His doctoral dissertation examined the clinical impact of psychodynamic treatment across mental health disorders and in addition to his clinical work, he is currently developing a series of foundational psychotherapy skills trainings in collaboration with a former Pepperdine professor and supervisor. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys strength training, meditation, spending time with his dogs, and appreciating music and film.
