Lisa Chen, MBA, LMFT is a registered clinical associate psychotherapist who specializes in trauma therapy. She obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, with a focus on Trauma. She holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Business School. Lisa has provided counseling services in both community health and private practice settings. Her empathetic approach combines an in-depth psychological understanding with scientifically-proven techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) to cultivate resilience in her clients and overcome the challenges they face.

In addition to her clinical work, Lisa also actively serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Reflective Communities and volunteers as a DBT group facilitator for the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEABPD). She maintains a private practice in Hermosa Beach, where she provides compassionate, personalized care to individuals and couples in need.
