Margot Demere attended University of Connecticut for her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies, where she graduated cum laude. She later lived in Sydney, Australia, where she earned her Masters in Counseling and worked as an interim counselor for a nonprofit mental health organization. In addition to providing free counseling to adolescents and their families, she also utilized her background in teaching to co-create and deliver mental health-based workshops in high schools and community programs for teenagers. Margot aspires to become a marriage and family therapist and aims to provide accessible/barrier-free therapy for individuals, families, and communities.
