Dr. Michelle Glantz is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who obtained her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology from The Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University in New York. Dr. Glantz completed her predoctoral internship on a long-term forensic inpatient unit at Manhattan Psychiatric Center. She assisted severely mentally ill patients with criminal histories reintegrate into society and avoid repeated incarcerations and hospitalizations. She then completed an APA accredited postdoctoral fellowship in the PTSD Clinic at The Long Beach VA and received formal training in several evidence-based treatments such as Mindfulness, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Dr. Glantz also works in private practice with children, adolescents, and adults treating a wide range of mental health issues including OCD, complex trauma and anxiety related disorders, life transitional issues, perinatal mental health issues, and mood disorders. She utilizes both psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral approaches tailored to meet her clients’ individual needs and goals.
