Alicia began her career in the entertainment industry, partnering with high-profile talent across both artist management and agency environments. Following a decade in the entertainment industry, Alicia moved into academia, where she taught entertainment business classes and went on to lead a music industry education department at a small arts college in Melbourne, Australia. There, she observed that students experiencing academic or attendance difficulties were often navigating underlying mental health concerns—an area that increasingly became the focus of her attention.
Alicia returned to Los Angeles in 2019 and transitioned her passion for serving this population into behavioral health admissions at Ascend Healthcare, ultimately advancing to Admissions Director. After departing Ascend in 2022, she went on to serve as Director of Clinical Relations at two adolescent treatment centers, Key Healthcare and BNI. Alicia holds a Master of Arts in Writing and Literature from Deakin University in Australia (thesis pending) and enjoys CrossFit, running, rock climbing, and spending time with her two young sons.
