As a member of Community West’s executive leadership team, Frederik Schulin brings more than 20 years of experience in behavioral healthcare, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing. Throughout his career, he has focused on advancing mental health and substance use disorder treatment for adolescents and young adults.

As Managing Partner of Insight Treatment Centers, Frederik led the growth and expansion of outpatient treatment programs centered on peer connection and a community-based “clubhouse” model. Under his leadership, Insight successfully scaled its operations and was acquired in 2024 by Your Behavioral Health. Frederik played a key role in capital formation, strategic planning, operational development, and post-acquisition integration.

Frederik currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Addiction Treatment Advocacy Coalition https://atac.org/, where he supports initiatives focused on improving outcomes, strengthening collaboration, and promoting long-term sustainability across the behavioral healthcare provider community.

He also serves on the Board of Directors of Teens4TeensHelp https://www.teens4teenshelp.org/, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that adolescents and young adults across the nation have access to peer support. Frederik is a strong advocate for community engagement and believes that meaningful peer connection is an essential component of recovery and long-term wellness for young people.
